We were charged a whopping 25,000 points to our choice privileges account (unbelievable!!!) as a third night at "The Dalles" hotel (normal charge $108). Most egregious was the very information on the clerk's desk referencing "stay 2 nights, get one night free" that said the average charge was 8,000 points. What the heck? AVERAGE EIGHT THOUSAND POINTS!!! So to get that average then there must be three (3) other hotels that charge 2,333 points or less each. Where in the world are these hotels??? Let's have the TRUTH about this deal.
